Mr. George Abrao is the Chairman of the Abrao Group of Companies. He is responsible for the overall management plans and strategic business development of the Group . Mr. George, a Commerce Graduate, has close to 40 years of experience in the shipping business. He is responsible for introducing and establishing Main Line Operators (MLO) into India like WAN HAI (Taiwan), Interasia Lines (Japan), etc. He spearheaded the group’s diversification from container agency business to Vessel owning and chartering, feeder agency, NVOCC, Ship to Ship Transfer Operations (STS) and end to end logistics solution provider. He is also presently the Vice President of AMTOI (Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India) and leads the AMTOI NVOCC council as its Chairman.

Mr. Lenny Abrao is a Managing Director in the Abrao Group of Companies. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and has an experience of more than 25 years in shipping business. A licensed Custom Broker and well experienced with the EXIM procedures. He is responsible for overall process management and operations of the group. He is also overseeing the digitization initiatives of the Group and implementation of ERP systems across business verticals which is to provide a superior customer experience.

He has more than 37 years of experience in the Logistic Industry in various segments such as Liner Agency, Freight Forwarding, Oil field Support Services, Container Freight Stations (conceptualizing to implementation), NVOCC, Road Transportation, Cold Chain, Warehousing and Distribution and Domestic Coastal Container service. Previously, he held the post of Managing Director of a USD 200 million Turnover Logistics company. He is an astute business leader with proven ability in shaping long term vision and strategy for the organisation.

In Information Systems Audit from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India with over thirty years’ experience in Financial Management, Business Due Diligence & Enterprise Valuation, Treasury, Financial Budget & Business Plan, Internal Process ,Risk Management and Compliance.

She comes with immense experience in shipping and logistics industry having served as CFO of a global maritime logistics group with diversified businesses spread across various countries.

Her experience includes coordinating with various financial intermediaries for raising fund and non-fund-based facilities to meet business needs.

She has successfully achieved various cost saving measures by implementing indices such as drill down SOPs, Operational KPIs, Cost Matrices and bespoke Performance Reports for business segments.

Presently she holds the position of Chief Financial and Governance Officer and is placed at Dubai, the global headquarters of the Abrao group.

She professionally aides the senior management team in monitoring and achieving business expansion and growth plans of the Abrao group.

Mr. Leo has 30 years of work experience in Wan Hai Lines (WHL) including overseas posts in India and Singapore. He is currently the Vice Chairman of Blue Water Lines Pte. Ltd. He is responsible to monitor and guide the President of the company and also looks after the functioning of the Finance Team and Audit Team. Mr. Leo introduces new opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector for both Blue Water Lines Pte. Ltd. and other group of companies that can engage in and benefit from.

He joined WHL in 1990 as a Division Head (Vice President), worked with significant departments and operations such as Finance, Sales, Marketing, Planning, Auditing, HR & Administration. In the initial years of his career, he managed operations for WHL Singapore and India and also played the role of Chief Auditor & Spokesman for WHL. During his tenure, Mr. Leo served as a Senior VP in WHL HQ where he administrated global sales, marketing and commercial functions of WHL offices in Taiwan and overseas.

Joined Abrao Group in February 2004 and assisted the organisation in forming the Joint Venture with Fendercare Marine UK who are the global leaders in Ship to Ship Transfer operations of Oil and Gas cargoes. In his over 23 years of career, he has worked in various leadership positions with Kuehne + Nagel, BAX Global, Panalpina and Ahlers.

Jitendra holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (International Business) from Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi.

Currently, Jitendra is the CEO for Triton Logistics and Maritime, the logistics division of the Abrao Group.

Mr. Raju Anthony is a dynamic professional with 17+ years of considerable experience as a Finance Professional serving the Shipping Industry. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer for the Abrao Group. He is responsible for the Group’s Strategic Financial Planning, Compliance, reporting and optimizing the return on investments across locations. Previously, he held the responsibility of serving different capacities including the Planning lead, Business Integration lead for different products of the Group.
He continuously drives the change by establishing the overall integration process design, mechanics and protocols to be followed by all participants and executives. He accelerates the process by helping the executive staff and pushing for timely decisions on key issues and providing true accountability for action items and deadlines.

His functional experience is spread across industries such as shipping (container, diving, maintenance and supply vessels), land transportation, freight forwarding, logistics, business consultancy and audit, which is gained working with leading organizations both internationally and India. In Abrao Group he holds the position of Group Chief Financial Officer responsible for Financial functions of the Indian entities of the Group. He operates out of our Mumbai Corporate Office and is supported by strong team of professionals.
